గురు అనే పదమునకు గల అర్ధమును నిరంతరము చింతిస్తూ వుండడము వలన గురుని వ్యక్తిగా గాక మహత్తరమగు శక్తిగా గుర్తించగలిగే యోగ్యత కలిగి గురువు అనుగ్రహంతో సద్గతి లభిస్తుంది. గు - అంటే గుణం, రు - అంటే రూపం.

Etymology of Guru is "Gu" and "Ru" which means Character Form (Character (Gu_nam) Form (Ru_pam)). The constant thought about the meaning of word Guru, make realise that Guru as a divine power not as a person. Then with Gurudev's grace we get competence to reach divine destination.
